Things to do

The Daggles is in the village of Leigh, West Dorset, around a 10 minute drive from the historic town of Sherborne.

The Jurassic Coast and its beautiful beaches are around 45 minutes’ drive away to the South via the county town of Dorchester. A favourite outing for us is to head to Weymouth mid afternoon for a splash and a fish & chip supper on the beach. The delights of Studland and Lulworth are a bit more of a trek but well worth it for a day trip.

The site links to lots of local footpaths and cycling is very popular in the area, we can suggest a few local walks, from a gentle amble with small children taking in a local stream to a more 'serious' venture up onto the Dorset Downs and beyond. The adjacent woodland is open to guests to explore at their leisure.
