About us
WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY FARM WE HOPE YOU LOVE IT AS MUCH AS WE DO!

On the edge of our dairy farm, between the Blackmore Vale and the Dorset Downs, you’ll find our secluded family campsite The Daggles.

Our family have been farming here for over 100 years and there are currently three generations in residence; you’ll probably meet some , if not all, of us during your stay! We are a working dairy farm producing milk that goes into Barbers Farmhouse cheddar – look carefully next time you’re shopping and you will probably see it!

Here is a family photo so you recognise us on our campsite rounds - although I cannot guarantee we will be looking quite this smart!

We look forward to meeting you,
Jess, Mark, Percy & Theodora

The Daggles is situated a quarter of a mile off Batcombe Lane and is accessed via a majestic tree lined avenue; driving down it you know you are heading somewhere special.

The site itself is a 3 acre grass field, surrounded by mature trees and adjacent to a small woodland that is available for campers to explore and enjoy.
The wood is full of beautiful butterflies and towering oak trees, we have recently mown a circular woodland walk (just watch out for the Gruffalo!) which is suitable for an off road pushchair making it the perfect place to go exploring, build dens and have a picnic.
Should you wish to wander further afield the site links up with local footpaths; you can even walk to the local pub, The Chetnole Inn, just bring your wellies!
